The footage of the Lion being alone while in the same shot as Maya is a case of TV editing. The Lion side shot is Sentai footage but Maya has been edited into the shot.
It then eventually cuts into an up-close Sentai shot of the Lion GalactaBeast.
Astro Cycles is new stuff but you should know that by now. After Leo tells Kai "I won't let you guys down," it then cuts back into Sentai footage of the Centaurus Megazord firing its Blaster.

Deviot's flashback of the defeated GalactaBeasts floating away in an asteroid field as well as construction work of reconstructing them into zords is all Sentai footage.
Once the flashback ends, it then cuts back into new footage of Deviot.
After Deviot says something about the only spirit his zords will ever know is transmitted to them through this controller, it then cuts into Sentai footage of the Gorilla GalactaBeast. It then cuts back into new footage of Deviot.

In Power Rangers, Hardtochoke just grows automatically in Sentai footage however in Gingaman, he drank the Potion before he grew.
